What to learn from rejection as a founder

Let’s talk about what’s often behind the success stories we share about our gate startups: rejection.

Their achievements didn’t come without setbacks. In fact, resilience—named by countless German founders as the number one trait for success—is built on the lessons learned from hearing “no.”

As Dr. Daniel Carton puts it when reflecting on his startup journey: 'You either give up or push through.'

So, how about facing rejection head-on today, tomorrow, and the day after? Like Jia Jian tells us in his TED Talk about 100 days of rejection, practicing the art of getting rejected regularly can open unexpected doors.

💡 Here’s what he learned:
  1. Don’t run from rejection—embrace it.
  2. Ask boldly for what you want.
  3. Never let rejection define you.
So, keep on pushing
