I see what you mean about the 'additional publicity' argument. But, to be honest, we haven't really noticed any effect as a company so far.
However, I have been granted an increased budget of €2,500. I'm not sure if this means we can continue as a 'silver level sponsor'.

sure, I can elaborate on this.
The last season has in our opinion raised the marketing value of TUfast. With the wins in the Netherlands and Spain came additional publicity which in turn attracts new sponsors and team members.
Our prices for the sponsoring levels were set about two years ago and are still in place: - Bronze Level: 2000€ - Silver Level: 5000€ - Gold Level: 9000€
As a long-standing sponsor, we of course want to keep you on board at the silver level. Against the backdrop of the last season, we would now like to move your sponsoring commitment closer to the value it’s been assigned internally. Therefore, we offered you the silver level at the price of 3000€.
However, if this price exceeds your sponsoring budget, feel free to let me know what would work for you. I look forward to hearing from you!

Following some internal discussions, we would like to gain a better understanding of why you are increasing the prices. The argument that you performed very well and therefore increased prices by one third was not entirely clear or logical to us.
